mojave, one of the most exciting new acts coming out of Istanbul’s growing alternative scene. The band recently released their debut album Kandırma Kendini (May 2025), available both digitally and on vinyl, and has been gaining momentum with a series of high-profile opening performances. This summer, mojave opened for Parcels (July 13), The Murder Capital, and Porridge Radio, with upcoming slots before DIIV (August 27) and Honeyglaze & Baxter Dury (September 13). Their sound draws inspiration from The Strokes, IDLES, and Fontaines D.C.—merging gritty riffs with emotionally raw melodies and an intense live presence. mojave is a five-piece band committed to making strong, international music despite the increasingly difficult cultural climate in Turkey.
